We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, resume content, job preferences, and any documents you upload. When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email, and profile photo). We also collect usage data such as the jobs you view and the features you use.

We use your information to provide and improve the Service — including extracting skills from your resume, calculating job-match scores, generating tailored resumes and cover letters, syncing your data across devices, and processing payments. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve our matching and AI features.

To power AI features, the contents of your resume and relevant job descriptions may be sent to third-party AI providers solely to generate results for you. We do not sell your data, and we do not permit these providers to use your data to train their models where such an option is available to us.

Your account data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We use Google reCAPTCHA (Firebase App Check) to verify that requests to our backend come from our genuine app rather than automated abuse; reCAPTCHA may collect device and browser signals for this purpose, and Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms) apply to that processing. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the "Delete My Account" option on your account page, or by contacting us directly; a request submitted this way is reviewed and completed by our team (it is not instantaneous), after which we delete your data except where we are required to retain it by law.

We use your browser's local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings (such as a saved email or your cookie preference) — these are essential to operating the Service. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used (such as which pages and features are visited) so we can improve it; this sets analytics cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time from that banner. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. Our sign-in provider (Google Firebase) and our payment processor (Stripe) may set their own cookies when you authenticate or check out, which are necessary for those functions.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting, authentication, payment processing, and AI providers), or when required by law. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

You can access and update your information from your account at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated data from the "Delete My Account" option on your account page, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
